Water-repellent sweat fabric - what does that actually mean?

It is a knit fabric with a special finish that limits rapid water absorption.

Light moisture droplets can sit on the surface instead of immediately penetrating the fibers.

Important: water-repellent material is not completely waterproof. It may get soaked in heavy or prolonged rain.
